Personal stuff:

I was born in Utah, but was raised in Southern California from the time I was six years old. After moving several times, my family finally settled in Moorpark, California, a small agrarian community named after the Moorpark apricot that was one of its major crops. I remember as a child picking oranges, lemons, apricots, and avocados from the orchards that surrounded my school’s playground. I have two sisters and one brother. I started to ride horses and participate in junior rodeos around the age of three. I still really enjoy horses, although I don’t get to ride as often as I would like. I really enjoy getting up into the mountains and enjoying their beauty. Growing up in California, I also learned to love the ocean at an early age. I really miss the sound and smell of the ocean. Disneyland is my favorite place in the world! I absolutely love it and will never be too old to enjoy it. Pirates of the Caribbean and the Haunted Mansion will always be my favorites. I love to go camping and especially enjoy Zion Canyon. I love to read and the Harry Potter series is my favorite. I enjoy traveling and spending time with my family and friends and I almost always have my camera with me ready to take pictures to scrap book. I enjoy sports of all kinds, but especially basketball and soccer. I played basketball in high school and participated in track and field. I have coached youth sports; soccer, basketball, and track and field (shot put and discus). I could not survive without ice cream and Mexican food or without a large variety of shoes.
