Mandy was born in Texas and raised in California, and is the oldest of five children. She has dreamed of teaching since she was in the third grade. She enjoys reading, running, volleyball, and photography. She could not live without music, flip-flops, or chapstick and gum. She loves summer, the beach, and the colors green and yellow.

Hi! My name is Brooke Porter and I am originally from Gilroy, California but was mostly raised in Utah County. I am the fifth of six kids and am the favorite aunt of fourteen nieces and nephews. I graduated from SUU in Cedar City (GO T-BIRDS) and it was there that I came to really love Southern Utah. Most people would say I am a neat freak but I just see myself as an overly organized individual! I love to travel, take pictures, read, clog, be outdoors (including jet skiing, hiking, rafting, skydiving, and snorkeling), and make others laugh. I served an LDS mission to La Paz, Bolivia where I was able to learn Spanish and come to love and appreciate the Hispanic people and culture. Besides kids, of course, I love LOve LOVE with all my heart and couldn’t live without the following things . . . drum roll please . . .
