Experience: Because of my husband’s employment as a Research Scientist for Eli Lilly Co, we have moved frequently. This has facilitated opportunity to teach in many different school districts in multiple states. In all, I have taught Special Education fifteen years. My experience has been in classes of children with severe disabilities, learning disabilities, and those who demonstrated emotional problems which interfered with their adjustment to a school environment. My most recent employment before working at Dixie Down Elementary School was at Pine View High School in their severe unit.

Personal stuff: I have seven children, six boys and one daughter. They are each married with children of their own. My hobbies include growing African Violets, photography, gardening cooking, music, sewing, golf and writing. I find teaching my favorite hobby.

My husband, Lloyd, and I met at college in Cedar City, Utah. We have been married fifty-five years and have lived in seven states.
